Ballistic Protection and Flexible High-Cut Design

The Šestan-Busch BK-ACH-HC is a modern ballistic high-cut helmet designed for military applications. The helmet shell is made from a combination of high-quality aramid fiber and UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene). The High-Cut/ACH-Cut profile provides compatibility with communication headsets while offering multiple options for mounting compatible equipment.

The BK-ACH-HC provides ballistic protection according to NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA. In addition, the helmet achieves a fragmentation protection rating of v50 ≥ 650 m/s according to STANAG 2920. The helmet shell is manufactured using the special EBSP production process. The helmet and its components are designed for use under different weather conditions.

High-Cut Profile with Extensive Accessory Mounting Options

The High-Cut design reduces coverage around the ear area, improving compatibility with communication headsets. Both sides feature MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails for mounting suitable equipment. The rails and included adapters allow compatible accessories such as cameras, helmet lights and other equipment to be attached.

The front of the helmet features an NVG mount for night vision devices and helmet lights. The mount is made from durable PA6 polymer with an aluminum base cover and is secured with three ballistic bolts. The universal mount is compatible with most common NVG mounting arms.

Comfortable Suspension System with RD Adjustment

For a secure and comfortable fit, the helmet features a 4-point harness with an RD adjustment system (Ratchet Dial). The system can be adjusted at the rear neck pad with one hand. The 9-piece, 19 mm memory foam padding set provides impact absorption and wearing comfort. The pads feature a sweat-absorbing and quick-drying Ultra Dry outer material.

The helmet also features bungees and buckles for improved fixation of masks and goggles, as well as Hook & Loop panels for additional equipment and ID patches.
