Ready for dynamic missions: The Direct Action SPITFIRE® plate carrier—named after the legendary World War II fighter—lives up to its name. It's one of the lightest and most streamlined plate carriers in its class. Without restricting your freedom of movement, it offers an uncompromisingly robust platform that can withstand even the toughest conditions.

Thanks to its outstanding modularity, the Spitfire can be precisely tailored to your individual tactical requirements in just a few simple steps—including quick conversion to a cutaway rig.

Maximum performance through smart features
 
  • Premium materials: The combination of proprietary, laser-cut laminate, robust 500D Cordura®, and softshell material ensures extreme durability at minimal weight.
  • Full modularity: You decide how you wear it. The cummerbund (compatible with side armor) and front flap are interchangeable. The carrier can even be configured in a wrap-around style without a flap.
  • Seamless system compatibility: The rear zipper system is Crye Precision AVS™ compatible. Chest rigs compatible with the Mayflower® / Velocity Systems standard can be attached in seconds using the front buckles.
  • Thoughtful communication setup: Numerous loops allow for neat routing of cables, antennas, and hydration tubes. Two dedicated PTT anchor points on the front keep your radio setup readily accessible.
  • Integrated storage: The convenient zippered chest admin pocket provides quick access to essential accessories such as spare batteries, earplugs, or notes.
  • Customizable: Generous hook-and-loop panels on the chest and back offer ample space for ID patches and badges.
